Tech by Geli ("we," "I," "us") is a solo operations-support practice based in Greensboro, North Carolina. This policy explains what personal information I collect from visitors to techbygeli.com and from clients, how it's used, and the choices you have.

1. Information I collect

Information you give me. When you fill out the contact form, subscribe to a plan, or email me, I collect your name, business name, email address, and whatever you choose to share in your message.

Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number. Stripe handles that under PCI-DSS compliance. I receive your email, plan, and payment status.

Automatic information. Standard web logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed) may be collected by hosting or analytics providers to measure traffic and keep the site secure.

2. How I use it

Reply to your inquiry and scope the work you asked about.
Deliver and support the service you signed up for.
Send transactional emails (confirmations, invoices, service updates).
Improve the site and understand which pages are useful.
Comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

I don't sell your information. I don't send marketing blasts.

3. Who I share it with

Only the service providers required to run the business. For example, Stripe (payments), the email delivery provider (transactional emails), hosting infrastructure, and my accountant when relevant. Each has its own privacy terms and is bound to use the data only to provide services to me.

If a client engagement requires me to access data inside your systems (spreadsheets, CRM, analytics), I treat that data as confidential and only use it to do the work you hired me for.

4. How long I keep it

Contact form messages are kept while I might reasonably follow up (up to 24 months), then purged. Client records and invoices are kept as long as tax and legal obligations require (typically 7 years in the US).

5. Your choices

Ask what information I have about you.
Ask me to correct or delete it (subject to legal retention rules).
Unsubscribe from any list you're on. Reply "unsubscribe" and it's done.

6. Security

I use reputable providers with encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfect. If something goes wrong I'll notify affected clients as soon as reasonably possible.

7. Cookies

The site uses only the cookies required to function and, if enabled, basic analytics. No third-party ad tracking is deployed.

8. Children

The site is for business use and isn't directed at anyone under 16.

9. Changes

I'll update the "Last updated" date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be flagged to active clients by email.
